FAQ's

At Mountain View Therapy, we understand that you may have questions about our services. Here are some of the most common questions we receive.

What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational therapy is a type of therapy that helps people of all ages to improve their ability to perform daily activities and to participate in the things they enjoy.

I don't have an NDIS plan. Can I still see you?

Yes! We are able to work with families to create plans for their little ones.

I have an NDIS plan but don't know how to start?

We are happy to help you work it out. Just give us a call, or send us a message and we can help you work through it.

I am NDIS managed, can I still see you?

Unfortunately not, sorry. We are only able to see Plan Managed and Self Managed participants of the NDIS.

How long are therapy sessions?

Our therapy sessions typically last 45-50 minutes, with 10-15 minutes allocated to therapists to document what has happened in the session. The length of the session can vary depending on the needs of the child and the family.

What areas do you serve?

We are a mobile pediatric occupational therapy service, which means we come to you! We serve families in the north and north west Brisbane area.

Do you do telehealth sessions?

We sure do. Telehealth sessions are a great option if you live remote, or if anyone is sick. We had extensive experience doing telehealth sessions during Covid and found it a really effective way of working with families.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are here to help!
